Description: On this stage in Madrid, located in an XVIII century palace on Torija Street, the soul of flamenco, that special feeling that sends chills through you, resides. Many famous artists have performed here and the aroma, the character, and the charm they exuded still lingers: La Chunga with her bare feet; the elegance of Manuel de los Santos, El Agujeta; and Aurora, who with her rhythmic Flamenco clapping, awoke the passion of Enrique Morente. Here, also, Serranito stepped forward to emphasize the guitar as an instrument to be listened to and a young Jose Merce began his career. He still comes in, when he can get away from his busy schedule, to share in the flamenco ambiance, sheltered by the shawls that still adorn the stage as if they were drying under the Malaga sun. Many performers have left their mark on this stage and the tradition lives on its boards. The traditional flamenco troupe is comprised of 9 artists: dancers, guitarists and singers. The Verdasco family has managed to combine a great show with the flavors of traditional cuisine, keeping the doors open to both local and international fans who wish to feel the history of flamenco for a night. And recently Spanish Federation of Hospitality has given us "NATIONAL AWARDS OF HOSPITALITY" - FEHR in its sixth year, in the category "Outstanding hospitality company in the promotion of culture." We can not forget some famous people who have passed through our tables, the King and Queen of Spain, Don Juan Carlos and Queen Sofia, Prince Charles and Lady Di, Hussein of Jordan, a show worthy of kings, who have not wanted to lose other famous people of our time as Cristiano Ronaldo, David Beckham, Pepe, Rafael Nadal and many famous actors and do not want to lose the best flamenco in town.

No. Don't go.
The most colorful aspect was whether the haircolour used was L'Oreal Darkest Brown 3.5 or Black 3.0
Might have been ok a few decades ago, but not now.
We didn't buy food, only a couple of drinks, so can't comment on food except that prices looked very dear. A pleasant aspect was that they gave us some olives free of charge.
I wish I had chosen a better flamenco show. Disappointing.

350 EUR for a party of 5. Had just one 30 EUR bottle of wine. The remained of the cost went to pay for the show and dinner Food was mediocre and viciously over priced. The show was laughable. The performers were well past their prime, sang off key and generally stunk. Avoid this place at all cost. It is filled with tourists. Believe me no locals would be caught dead in this place. Any positive review has to be a fake.

This restaurant has a delicious menu with tradicional spanish food. The flamenco show was very nice! But the prices are overrated! Very expensive! We payed 70€ per person!

We were taken there by a good friend who is from Madrid and wanted us to live the real thing. We had a fantastic evening, enjoying a great show put on by real characters. It helped of course that our friend organised the best table in the room and that we had an after-show chat with the musicians and dancers. Tourists go there, sure. But Spaniards do, as well. And it seems to me that they know why. Touristy? not at all. Authentic show? that's why you should go there! The food is so so and a bit pricey. But good enough to enjoy the evening. And if you chose well, the wines are great.

The show was excellent. It's the first time we've been to flamenco show and it's seemed genuine. The group was 5 great women dancers with passion. The customs were beautiful. There were around 7 men - singing, playing the guitar and even dancing. It was excellent show and we had a great time! Also we had a paella with sea food - a bit expensive (62 euro per two) but was very good with a lot of mariscos. We think it is really worth going there.
