Ok, things are different in Europe. Of the 2 buildings on these grounds stay in the Barajas. If you don't simple amenities like eating and getting ice require you to trek from one building to the next, get this, the front desk person didn't know if the would give me a bucket or glass ( my stay here has taught me to leave nothing for granted) so the specter of mystery and anxiety accompanied me to the "other side". It seems of the 2 hotels I stayed in here in Madrid, there is a shortage of hand towels, soap and toilet paper. I guess I'm just too regular and hygienic....lol. The Wi-Fi did not work and had to trek to the front desk to get some antiquated ethernet cables. Oh, and you need a hearing aid to hear the T.V. as they have regulated them to inhibit the occasional high volume freak. The restaurant is a little pricey and the food is ok and bland.Make a right out of the hotel walk on the right hand side of the sidewalk to the traffic light and make another right and walk to the dead end which is where the mall is with a variety of shops and eateries.
The property is a stones throw from the airport. The shuttle is nice and clean (Mercedes Benz super van!). The property is nice and clean. I love the smell of these Euro hotels!
The rooms are functional with a huge shower. Pleasantly appointed interior and hallway areas add to a feeling of calm. Good value for a nights stay and catching that flight in the morning.

Room Tip: 5th floor is the top of the property and has a relaxing area and the floor was quiet when I was ther...

Sadly, Madrid's metro doesn't start before 6am, so if you have an early morning flight you have to take a taxi OR stay at a hotel close to the airport the night before. For a little more than a taxi, we stayed here because they provided free shuttle service (starts at 5am) and it was MUCH less than the Hilton. I think nearly everyone that stays here has early flights.

It reminded me of a very modern Holiday Inn Express. It's new, clean, and the staff was very friendly and efficient. They set up our wake-up call and our shuttle for the morning as soon as we checked in. There was a free fruit plate in the room. The room is plain but the bathroom was really nice and the shower great. It was also quiet at night. The only thing I didn't like that much was the bed - it was a bit too firm (and I normally like firm). It didn't really interfere with my sleep though.

Also, if you get a pickup at the airport, expect about a 20-25 minute wait (since they have to stop at all the terminals) - this is probably true for most of the hotel shuttles though.

In any event, I'd stay here again or try their sister hotel next door. Great value for the money. 3.5 stars

A charmless modern hotel in a quiet commercial district, within a 20 minute shuttle ride to the airport. The building could equally be turned into an office suite and it has that feel about it. Staff are efficient but not very friendly.

The rooms are stark, white and utilitarian, the bathroom is very nice with a big walk in shower. Floors are covered in laminate but we didn't have any noise problems at all.

There is a small fridge that contains 2 cokes 2 beers and some water. A large kettle and coffee are provided.

The worst thing however is the bed: it is by far the most uncomfortable I have slept on for a long time. Extremely hard and unyielding and we both had an awful sleep. Air conditioning is noisy. Only one pillow per person is provided.

Room Tip: If you don't mind sleeping on a plank of wood, this will be fine, given it' convenience for...

Really loved this place. The whole experience was good starting from airport shuttle. There was one little hiccup in the end as I have to reach airport at 4:30 and their shuttle starts at 5:00 am. Thy arrange another service but that didn't come on time and finally I have to take taxi to airport.

i travel a lot, needed an hotel in madrid for an overnight stay awaiting a morning flight. i booked via my smartphone which -through a third party application-gave me a price of 63 euros including a buffet breakfast. location was great, shuttle service for free included was also very good. an small note: the webpage describes the hotel as being 5 minutes away from the airport, this may be a reality if you have your car (and know your way), if using the shuttle service allow 20-30 minutes between the different stops on the different terminals and then the highway to the hotel.

the hotel is very new, all the furniture and equipment, wc and showers are almost brand new. clean large rooms.

Room Tip: i chose a room away from the elevator and on a high floor. but can not comment on the other rooms or...

A taxi from the area of the Prado took us to this airport area hotel, the Axor Feria, a sister to its more elegant sister hotel right next door. Taxi cost was 23.35 euro (we had two carryons and two back packs). Be aware it’s a long drive, more so with heavy commute traffic, so allow time.

You need to go to the sister hotel next door for real food. The Feria, our hotel, decorated in ultra modern, only has vending machines for snacks and umpteen types of coffee. There is a huge mall, however, about four blocks away with more restaurants than you can name, from Thai, to German, to Tapas, to Burger King, Subway, Bar&Grill and Pizzeria. Our choice: good bratwurst, potatoes and not so sour sauerkraut with German beer. A last minute break from tapas as we left Spain.

We used WiFi with our own laptop, but I think they had a computer center. We booked their free shuttle which arrived timely next door and delivered us promptly to the airport. The desk clerk was pleasant, willing and helpful, with good English.

The hot water shower could hold four people. Luggage racks had space for two carryons and a backpack. Good lighting to read in bed. Only con- the view out the window was construction.

I travel a lot, mostly from Barajas airport. This hotel is perfect to spend a night if you are taking a plane on the next morning. Free shuttle to the airport, dont forget to book it, clean large rooms, and good prices.
It is located close to a large mall, 5-10 minutes walking.
