The paella is good and the service is attentive and courteous. The rest is unsatisfactory. In particular the crème brûlée was bad, burned. Too touristy.

You should order paella Marisco with seafood. The meal is huge and you will really enjoy it. Be aware since this is a local place - you should speak some Spanish or at learn how to order in Spanish at least.
This place is great if you want to see how locals eat, drink, talk over their meal.

Good manners and they are very friendly to their customers. The food is excellent and you get very full after a nice dinner at the restaurant.

I had the suspicion that this restaurant might be a tourist trap, but I decided to give it a try because of my love for paella. My suspicions proved to be almost true.
The place is very neutral and uninterested. The service is rather unfriendly or (better say) ice-cold. The bread was like a tasteless white foam. On the other hand, the paella proved to be very tasty and generous in size (always consider orders for at least 2 persons) BUT it was overpriced.
If you can find another restaurant in Madrid with good paella, just go for it and ignore Paella de la Reina

My husband and l came here for dinner because a friend of mine said it was an excellent place for paella.
It was a Saturday night so naturally very busy. We shared a grilled fish as appetiser since we were starving (it was 10.30pm) which was rather nice. Paella was good (we had the mixed one)but nothing remarkable, chicken was dry and there was very little pescado. All the people eating there were tourists which is never a good sign.
Maybe l had too high expectations, but l was a bit disappointed.
