“Best chocolate and churros but expensive”
Reviewed January 4, 2014

This was just around the corner of our hotel and was the best churros we have ever had. It is expensive but worth it with the best coffee too! Be prepared to wait for a table.

“Great little chocolate-led cafe”
Reviewed October 2, 2013

Locals and touristas flock to this jolly cafe, for their chocolate fix. Smart inside decor, with the usual outside tables too. We liked our calorie -packed breakfasts here.....Fun.

“Spain Equals to Chocolate With Churros”
Reviewed September 3, 2013

Chocolaterias Valor is the perfect restaurant for dessert or sweet breakfast, but most of all, it is a to-die-for restaurant when it comes to chocolate and churros. Churro is a fried dough in a shape of a long rectangle. Dipping that fried dough bit by bit in a cup of hot melted chocolate is so delicious and has become a "tradition" for me when I was in Spain. Just to precise, I am commenting on the Chocolaterias Valor in Salamanca and not in Madrid (this website couldn't find the correct location). The service is quite slow compared to Western countries, but once the waitor/waitress serves your table they are really nice and friendly. At this restaurant, they would even sometimes give you a card that offers a free portion of churros for the next visit.
