“This is it, you can't get any more local!”
Reviewed January 23, 2013

This is what every tapas bar outside Spain should take as a reference. The quality, the portions and the way the beer is drafted is just amazing.
Really worthy going there if you have the chance. Be aware that it can get very busy on weekends, so if you are lucky enough to do it over the week, you will be happily satisfied.

“A locals favorite place for tapas”
Reviewed October 18, 2012

I try to visit Cazorla every time I go to Madrid because I find it absolutely fantastic. The food, cañas (beer) and Rioja wine are superb, served quickly by a very friendly staff. My favorites are: "Pulpo a la Gallega (Octopus with potato and Chili) , ensalada de tomato con ventresca(tomato and tuna salad) and Carabineros a la plancha(grilled Mediterranean prawns). The place gets packed by locals around 9 PM. I highly recommend this place if you are interested in eating magnificent food and wine in a place with a vibrant Spanish atmosphere. Ole!

“Nice fish plates”
Reviewed January 22, 2011

We tried Adobo, Pulpo a la Galega and Tuna and Tomato.
The three were delicious and generously served.
The service was quick and nice.
You can eat on your feet, talking and drinking or ask for a table. The decoration is traditional and the clients have all ages, they probably live around because this is not a very touristic place. It's a family atmosphere attended by people with 30 or more and with some money.

“Perfectly fry fish and lovely staff”
Reviewed September 14, 2010

Each time I go to Madrid I make sure I visit Cazorla.
Their staff is incredible friendly, the food great quality and the beer perfect!
The price is really reasonable for what you get.
The Cazorla salad is lovely and all the fish fresh and perfectly fried.
The croquetas are yummy as well.
I would recommend a visit to anyone that stops in Madrid
