Had a great time and the bike tour included a beer sangria stop. Saw a good overview with a good tour guide who knew about the city. My one warning is Madrid is NOT bike friendly. This tour is not for the faint of heart- you ride in and out of lots of traffic and people. I really enjoyed this tour, but no helmet and a lot of riding in and out of traffic. But when in Rome . . . I mean Madrid! Well, you know the rest. Do this tour if you want to meet fun adventurous people and see a lot of the city in a short time and learn a little about Madrid!

We LOVED our tour this morning with Yopp, the friendly English speaking Dutchman who has adopted Madrid as his home. Tour was 3 hours (just over actually) including a stop for a quick beer (or refresco if you prefer!) and tapas halfway through all for the bargain price of €22pp.

No bike difficulties, no language difficulties and a really enjoyable tour including the big sights and some lesser known stories about Madrid's past.

FYI no helmets provided as with other city bike tours we've done but maybe they can provide them if you ask. Handy for gran via hotel and not far from puerta del sol, website map is ok.

Our fitness level is pretty good and there was only one long slow incline into retiro that was difficult - otherwise just watch out for the traffic!

We wish trixi the best of luck in the future a great business model doing something well and keeping it simple - gracias!

FUN! Booked this via Viator.com. Three hour tour of Madrid which included some touristy spots and some local spots with an English speaking guide. Doing this by bike allowed us to cover more ground as opposed to doing it on foot. Be aware the bike shop location is obscure (doesn't have #12 written on the outside) and located on a tiny street (Calle de los Jardines, 12) on the outside perimeter of the Puerto del Sol, streets away from the statue of the bear. Allow time to find it. We were actually 15 minutes late but the owner was nice enough to lock up his shop and ride with us to catch up with the group. Super cool experience to bike on the streets of Madrid! Good value.

We toured Madrid with Trixi on a Sunday with a relatively small group (I think there were 6 of us plus guide), all English speakers. It was a lot of fun to see Madrid from a bike as opposed to a bus, having a local tell us about the sights rather than hearing the info through headphones. Our guide knew a lot but had a tendency to kind of "take off" on his bike without waiting for the entire group to keep up. Instead he would bike to a certain spot then stop and wait, which made slower bikers feel a bit frustrated. We also occasionally got separated because of pedestrians or traffic. As long as you are comfortable on multi-speed bikes, you'll be fine!

A fun way to see Madrid. A great mixture of locations to ride, some busier and others quieter, all enjoyable. The guide we had was ok, but the group we were rising with we're good fun. Good value for money.
