“Best Burger in Madrid”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 26, 2012

I've been traveling Europe with some friends & we decided to "find" the best burger in Europe.

In Madrid if you ask anyone they will say that Alfredo's is the Best hamburger in Madrid, maybe even Spain.

We went to both of his restaurants, we saw him at Juan Hurtado 9, nice guy, but the service is ... less than average... the food is OK, not the best we have had in Madrid; but it's in our top 5.

The Best Burger in Madrid??

We say it's Pecado Carnal, 100% Kobe Burger served in style & in a great atmosphere... it's reminded us of the Burger Joint back in NY.. great food in an unexpected place...

If your in Madrid & you ARE going to go to Santa Ana, walk to Pecado Carnal & try there Kobe Burger... and post back!!

“Get to talk to Alfredo”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 8, 2012

Great steaks and burgers as well as a salad bar for healthy options(!) - one of the few places where I can get my 'Death Row meal - T-Bone, Baked potato and corn on the cob - to die for!

“a piece of home in Madrid”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 7, 2011

We just found this little place in Lagasca Street and we were very impressed with the quality of the food. They only serve hamburguers and the traditional side dishes, nachos, onions rings, coleslaw but I'm sure nobody goes there looking for pasta dishes. If you are ever in Madrid and get tired of Spanish food McDonalds is not the option, find Angelo's and you won't be dissapointed. The service is a little slow and not too friendly as we find people to be back home but other than that you will feel like if you jumped to the other side of the ocean for a bit...

“Best hamburgers in town”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 29, 2011

Alfredo's offers, without a doubt, the best hamburgers in Madrid. The place is Ok, nothings special, and the main restaurant is downstairs, on a basement. It is very difficult to get a table in this place but you can always eat upstairs by the bar. Definetely worth it if you fancy a burger.

“Good burgers, they should improve the service”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 5, 2011

I've been there a saturday night without making a reservation and we had to wait for more than a hour because it was really busy.
The burgers are really good, even if I didn't get a well done one as I asked, the cheesecake was ok.
The waiters were a bit rude and the service poor in general, maybe it's better during the week.
