Small friendly restaurant with a great recommended tapas menu.

Wine, calamari and prawns (possibly the biggest you have ever seen) were delicious.

Top value and don't be put off by the non English speaking waiters, they are good at hand signals!

We planned to go around the corner to a higher scoring restarant on TA but it was too early in the evening and it was shut. Returning to the Metro we saw this place and took shelter from the cold and rain.
Greeted with a warm and cosy atmosphere, we had a great set price meal; the spaghetti with olive oil, gartlic and pancetta was devine.
Reasonably priced with aTapas Bar if needed, we would recommend this to anyone who asks for a good value evening meal.

Found this restaurant by chance on a cool June Madrid evening. Inside it was very warm and welcoming and the service was friendly and efficient. We both had salmon and were impressed with the quality and it was very well cooked. You must try the chocolate icecream and Bayley's liqueur - yummy!. Sangria was not bad either!

We've been to this restaurant twice - in 2010 and 2011 - and had excellent food both times. The set menu is very good value for money. Good atmosphere and service. I'd thoroughly recommend La Traviata for well prepared food, generous portions and very reasonable prices.
