“Nice, clean, and modern rooms, helpful staff, excellent location, free wifi, good breakfast”
Reviewed December 11, 2013

I stayed at this hotel for 3 nights and was very satisfied with the experience. I need to make a special note about the excellent staff this hotel has, which made my trip uneventful.

Pros:

Excellent staff. I was actually sick during this trip and so I stayed in my room resting most of the time. I was delivered fresh fruit and warm water when they found out I was sick and I got the help I needed when I was at the pharmacy. I also got plenty of useful information about restaurants and winery visits. Staff is very communicative and helpful. Well done!
The hotel and its rooms are modern, clean, and look new. I got a room with high ceiling and so the room looked even bigger.
Water pressure from the shower is excellent. Perfect shower.
Free wifi and excellent speed.
Very useful and effective heater. The room is well insulated from the cold outside.
Excellent breakfast. Cereal, pastry, cured meat, fruit juice, fruits... large enough variety for a big meal.
Hotel is 5-10 mins walk from all the nice restaurants and tapas bar in town.

Cons:

Nothing I can think of. It will be nice if they add some English movie channels to their TV's.

My stay was perfect. Thank you!

Great little boutique hotel in Logrono (excellent shower!). Extremely helpful and friendly staff, great breakfast and excellent location near the pinxto bars on Calle Laurel street for a fun night out. Would definitely stay here again!

What a lovely little hotel situated in the old town. It looks nothing on the outside but we were directed to free parking nearby. The room was the one in the pics on their web page. The bathroom, bed, pillows etc fresh and lovely. But, the breakfast surpassed any I have had for a long time. We were shown all the food and how to work the coffee machine, toaster etc. juice was in a large polished chrome chiller. All morning goods were fresh and delicious. We were brought a plate of delicately cut assorted fruit and two pieces of tasty Spanish tortilla. Even the condiment sets were polished and without so much as a fingerprint. We left to continue our journey feeling content. This is obviously a hotel which is a great source of pride to its owners.

This is a nice hotel in the old town. The staff was pleasant and helpful — even volunteered to look after a parking ticket we received when we didn't understand how the machine worked. The room was large and comfortable and the bathroom had a heated towel rack. I would recommend this hotel.

This is a charming hotel and beautifully restored/renovated. We stayed in ROOM 101! It is a deluxe large double at the front. The huge bed was very comfortable and the bathroom was very spacious and sparkling. The ladies who cleaned the rooms were extremely thorough and spent much time achieving a very high standard of cleanliness. The hotel is calm and quiet inside and we weren't particularly troubled by occasional cars on the metal covered road outside but generally we don't mind a bit of noise as we are used to it at home. Breakfast was good continental with the welcomed addition of a slice of tortilla. Nightlife was fun and lively in the noisy pintxos bars. We really enjoyed our two night stay here. All members of staff that we met were very helpful.

We were a group of chaps on a wine and food tour. We were exploring the Rioja region and this seemed like a good place for a base.
The hotel itself is in a side alley a little away from the main town centre. This was not a problem as we were being driven everywhere. You could however walk into the main town in 5-10 minutes.
The hotel itself has no bar which probably isn't a bad thing!
Its very modern, clean and tidy. The rooms are stylish and a good size. Two of us shared a double. Each room has a mini bar and safe although no tea/coffee making facilities.
The view from the room was poor (looking down into an alley) but we were not there for the views.
A friend of ours stayed in a front facing room which he said was a tad noisy but nothing you wouldn't expect from a city break hotel.
Breakfast was simple but adequate.
All staff were very friendly and helpful.

Room Tip: Try and get a room at the rear. Not for the view but they seem to be a little quieter.

My wife and I spent a few weeks driving around Spain, absolutely adored Logrono and the hotel as well. Lovely staff and rooms with character. It was far and away the most reasonably priced hotel of our trip so we were not expecting a huge amount and were pleasantly surprised on all counts.

We Shall be back soon
