The hotel is located downtown Haro in the Rioja Region, close to the old plaza, "Casco Viejo". It offers clean rooms with good service. The restaurant is very good and the breakfast is good also. Staff is helpful. Haro is a small town, so the movie theater is next door. Finding parking at peak hours may be difficult but good. They have a deal with a local gym a block away. Internet is very good.

This Hotel is right in the centre of Haro and has its own parking (E15/Day). However, you can walk to the Muga Winery and many others. It is a great location if you to do all the winery stuff. The central Atrium of the Hotel is outstanding, and the rooms and well appointed. The WiFi is good however, they need many repeaters to cope with the solid stone walls. We would certainly return here again. Go directly to the Hotel Website to see what deals they are doing.

Rooms are allright and very clean, but I expect a bit more warmness from the host when traveling. No one was displeasent, but you kind of feel like you are at the doctors offfice front desk when you check-in.

Maybe a free continental breakfast could help make the stay a bit more warmer.... For the price... Next time, i will try an other hote

Haro is a nice little town, but after seing some of the smaller villages around, we would have staid in St-vicent....

I have stayed in many hotels in Spain and also in Rioja. This hotel is amazing. The staff were great the rooms were clean and it is perfectly located to travel around and visit different bodegas. I stayed in room 415 which I highly recommend. It is a junior suite so a little more expensive but the room is huge. Alas, no beach view to speak of but other than that great great great,. The restaurant served up some great Riojan meals which many of you will find second to none.

Room Tip: Room 415 without a doubt.

This hotel is a lovely venue right in the center of the city of Haro. It oozes character and charm and serves a fine breakfast in the large patio. The patio is a very nice place to sit for an evening drink. In October the weather can still be warm and apparently the air conditioning is not still on. I had a room facing the street and was able to open the window (inviting a mosquito in to share one of my evenings) but one gentleman in our wine-tasting group (We spent five days visiting bodegas/wineries in Ribera del Duero and La Rioja.) complained that his room overlooked the patio and when he opened the window, all the noise from meetings and entertainment there drifted up and into his room so that he found it difficult to sleep. This may be worst on weekends so a guest might prefer a room facing the street unless it's the time of year when the AC or heat are on and windows can be kept closed. My very comfortable room with a double bed was fine for one person but if there are two of you and you like to read in bed, you may want to request a room with a bedside lamp on each side of the bed, which mine did not have. The amenities did not include hand lotion, Kleenex, shower cap or a heated towel rack but there was a shoe shine sponge. Since I was with a group, it's quite possible though that my room was not one of the upper scale ones which might have more "goodies." I have been at this hotel three times now over the last several years and find it very satisfactory. There is a computer for guests to use for free; the central location is excellent; the service is very good and the breakfast appealing and ample.

Room Tip: When the AC and heat are not operating, avoid rooms facing the patio in case there is a lot of noise...

Our room was spacious with a well appointed bathroom, well furnished and with superbly comfortable beds with memory foam mattresses. The breakfast buffet was excellent and the dinner in the restaurant was of excellent quality and cooked to perfection. The location makes this hotel a very good base for touring tha Rioja Alta.

As other reviewers have said the public areas are really amazing and the central courtyard is very imposing. Our bedroom was fine, as was the food and the service we received. Travelling with a group of classic car "nuts" meant the secure underground car park was much appreciated and the staff were immensely helpful when one of our group had a slight problem. Well located in Haro and well worth a visit.
