I attend the first Gibraltar Fringe Festival last week - it was spread from Thursday evening until Sunday evening and is going to be repeated next year.

There was a real variety in the arts being offered - alternative plays, dance, entertainers like the balloon man and the paper man - and more dark sets such as the Japanese alternative dance - which was more like a mime act that felt very black and quite disturbing!

The atmosphere of seeing live entertainment in a beautiful mature nature setting, with the frogs croaking and bats flying and the sweet smell of jasmine and dama a la noche is quite surreal and unique

A peaceful place to spend a couple of hours exploring. Lots of interesting nooks and crannies and beautiful plant specimens.

Great place for peace and quiet, lots to see, great play area for children, kept them entertained for ages. Grab an ice cream in the little shop and enjoy the views

I walk through the park every day, and love it. There are so many plants, and paths, and the kids play park is fantastic. We often go there after school, and it is the best park in Gibraltar. The zoo will be opened again soon after all the work they are doing on it. The only disappointing thing about the park is that there is no grass, but it is a really lovely place to go.
