“Worth a look”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 2, 2013

Situated at the south end of main street, just outside the city walls, this cemetery houses the graves of many lost souls from battles & illnesses of the 1800's although only two seemed to be specifically related to the battle of Trafalgar. It is a small area and can be easily walked around in half an hour. Even though there has been some restoration, disappointingly many of the headstones are unreadable. Just out side the gates is a great place to catch the local bus, or pick up the taxi tour of the island

“Unusual cemetery”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 18, 2013

This was a very unusual cemetery for me, but I really loved it. It looks like an overgrown tropical garden at first as it's full of palms, but then you notice lots of tiny white headstones around. It's very atmospheric and a very quite spot even if it's just outside the city walls, and it has a beautiful trellised entrance.

“Idyllic...”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 16, 2013

for some rest time from walking around the shops. Dont expect to find tonnes of history as only two victims of the Trafalgar battle are buried there. Nevertheless is a nice place for some quiet time away from the hustle and bustle of the busy roads.

“Sobering”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 27, 2013

Take time to walk amongst the graves of some of those who fell during the battle. Even non sailors will doubtless be moved, and so many people just walk past it, not even knowing it exists. The clue is the pub across the road
