The old quarter of Vigo city is a great place explore a few bars/taverns and have some of the food & wines of the region. Don't miss A Pedra Market where various restaurants are located offering fresh seafood. You will even find the oyster ladies/men here selling raw oysters by the half-dozen or dozen. It is a must to sip back a glass (or two!) of Albariño white wine and try the mussels of galicia they are very tasty and from the fabulous Ria de Vigo (Bay of VIgo).
