Hotel Compostela is located on the edge of the old town and is a delightful establishment. The staff are friendly and obliging. The beds were very comfortable and everything was in good working order. The only drawback was a limited menu but in Spain this is a problem if you want to eat before 9pm!

Staid here for a week during a sailing event and liked the place. Rooms are not overly large but good. WiFi is stable and fast and the staff is super friendly. Any time again when in the area. Breakfast is served (not a buffet) but nice.

Good check in and fabulous additional service following check out next morning when one of our party left passports behind at reception, and receptionist ran about a mile to catch us with the passports!

We had a room that looked down into an interior courtyard. It was very quiet and the A/C worked beautifully. The staff were very helpful and gave us directions to the fort. Wifi worked well and we were able to connect with family at home. A good sleep enabled us to set out on our Camino early in the day.

We were walking the Camino and this was booked by our trekking company. Perfect location by the Port but a couple of blocks from the centre so not drowned in tourist when the cruise ships come in. Unfortunately, this great location can mean a bit of noise in the late evening. Room was clean, large and well appointed. Front desk staff were brilliant: helpful efficient and friendly. Breakfast was simply insufficient for a hotel apparently targeting people walking the Camino. Toastadas, juice and coffee are simply not enough and we had to stop later for simply enough fuel to get us through to lunch. As a tourist I would return here, as a peregrinos I would not.
