I stayed at this hotel for 4 nights after completing 116 km of the Camino de Santiago from Sarria, Lugo. I was given a room with a small enclosed balcony at the front of the building. I thought it would be noisy but, sure enough, when I closed the shuttered doors, it was quiet. I loved sitting in this tiny balcony (a common feature in Galicia known as a "galeria") watching the constantly changing Galician weather, reading a book or just sipping a cup of hot coffee. The staff was excellent: polite, obliging, very helpful and friendly. I felt like there was nothing I could ask for that they would not do to make my stay as plesant as possible. The location is excellent. There is a park just a stone's throw away, the major attractions of Santiago within easy walking distance, shops and restaurants of your choice so numerous you can find practically anything you want. I felt at home and very safe at this hotel. It was simple, clean and priced well. There was nothing I did not like about it and would recommend it to anyone who is looking for good value for their money.
