“Clean and comfortable”
Reviewed June 11, 2014 via mobile

Good position for us close to the railway station but that means a bit of a walk (19 minutes or so) from the cathedral etc. you can't have everything. Lots of cafés, bars and supermercados nearby so very convenient. Rooms clean and bedding comfortable. We were cold the first night (Queenslanders!) so they turned the heating on for us and we were fine after that.
Walls are thin so the neighbours were a bit annoying but no noise from outside. I would stay here again.

We stayed at the Mexico PR in late April and early May of 2014 and found it quite nice. It had been remodeled some time in the past with a view toward permanence. Everything was solid and worked as designed.
The staff was more than helpful. As always my wife and I look for a place that is Clean: and this place was spotless, Quiet: while the hotel room doors shut with the traditional hotel slam, the night was quiet, and we want Safe: this is in a very active business neighborhood with cafes, restaurants, and wine bars, very safe.
I would use this hotel again.

Great location. ..very helpful reception...and great value. ..just what we needed after a flight..
Just round the corner from bus drop of point from and to the airport and walking to the railway station.

Although this hotel is a little away from the old town area, it's not that far to walk (maybe 10 mins). We stayed somewhere else in Santiago closer to the old town before heading to Finisterre and we stayed overnight here on our way back to San Sebastian. We wanted somewhere close to the train station and so booked in here. It was a nice hotel with very friendly and helpful staff. The staff were english speaking which helped when we were trying to figure out if we wanted to go via train or by car. The room was fine and fairly comfortable.

I came in for 2 nights before leaving for Sarria to start the Camino Walk from there. This is a short walk from the airport bus stop and there is a lift to wisk you up to the 4th floor reception and rooms. English speaking desk, free Wi-Fi. in room safe were features I particularly liked plus a small supermarket right across the street and short walks to lots of cafe bars with outdoor seating. A nice walk to the Cathedral area too. I wish they would have had coffee service for in the morning or at least a hot kettle or a microwave so I could have made some without having to go out right away as I do like my coffee first thing, that's about the only thing I found lacking. There was a TV in the room but I didn't check it out. All in all, a very comfortable stay at a good price.

Not in the old town but an approx 10min walk to this part. Located in the newer city part but very close to shops, cafes and park. Also, very close to train station and airport bus stop which was handy for arrival/departure plus also a day trip to A Coruña by train. Nothing special but clean, spacious and secure, even though staff should probably ask for ID before giving room keys out.

I stayed here for two nights after completing the Camino Ingles.

Well, yes indeed, this is one of the best value places I have had the pleasure of staying at. A very comfortable room and bathroom for a mere 30 Euros.

On arrival, the receptionist was very friendly and spoke great English, the place was spotlessly clean and quiet and had a very cosy feeling. It's in a great location too, being slightly away from the noisy center part of town, but only a 15 minute walk there and to the cathedral for Mass and the amazing history of Santiago - what a place!

There is also a 24 hour convenience store right opposite the hotel and an excellent beer bar (The cerveceria international) nearby, with a huge range of beers from all over the world, including some craft ales from England and a host of Belgian Trappist beers. Oh, and Dominos pizza restaurant is just around the corner too!

A really great choice, this one!
