Amazing experience. We joined the pilgrims mass and had to come back to the cathedral two more times during the following days to see it all.

Gorgeous catedral and well reserved. We could walk on the top of the roof of the catedral and saw the beautiful landscape but need to reserve before. The city around the catedral was nice, not expensive suviniors and we can try the Alberino wine and the sea food (octupus and mussel).

I visited a lot of cathedrals - and this is one of the most impressed! A great church, very old and very beautiful, fully filed by history with 11 century portal! To look at pilgrims is interesting as well, this is the and of "Camino de Santiago". For Catholics this is one of the most holy places. The medieval surround houses confirm expression of steeped in history.

Great view from the top of the church about the Galizia countryside..Emotional and.very instructive architecture (business wise)..stones, archs and all of the detailed and art-related designs..I want to go back there by following Mr. Pablo Coelho book experience!!! Half Pilgrim half hicker..Look fwd to having you as part of my group of friends..whatever that is for ya...pilgrim, hicker or well educated traveller!!

Just walking around inside the Cathedral is well worthwhile and is free. There are several tour options that get you into the museum areas of the Cathedral - as seniors, we paid 4 euros for our tour. Included history, archeology, art, and religious treasures - all well presented. An English audioguide is available for 3.50 euro. We spent anout 3 hours in the Cathedral, moving along efficiently.
