I'm 70 years old and have literally traveled the world. I walked the beginning from St Jean and the end from Sarria. This is not easy and carrying a backpack is hard but this is doable and very inspiring. I finish tomorrow and will look back on this as a worthwhile endeavor.

We walked The French Way Camiño from Sàrria to Santiago de Compostela. 115 km over 6 days. A quiet contemplative physically demanding walk shared with people from all over the world. Lots of memorable conversations with people we had never met before. We booked through Camiño Ways Ireland which was excellent. The region is totally organised to support a wide variety of walkers with a variety of expectations and budgets.

have just returned from an 10 day trip walking the Camino from Sarria to Santiago with six friends.
Paul from Walks in Spain was meticulous in the planning and paperwork.
It made the trip so much easier knowing a safe pair of hands was behind the hotel bookings and luggage transfer.
I unfortunately had a problem with blisters and he responded immediately to early morning emails and arranged for one of the hotel owners to take me to the nearest medical centre. He kept regular checks on us to make sure everything ran smoothly.
The accommodation was superb and he has clearly spent time researching locations and building relationships with the hoteliers as we we’re always warmly welcomed.
Can’t wait to go again and walk a different stretch. Won’t hesitate to use them again.
Thanks again Paul...we all had a fantastic time.

We were part of a group of 8 that used Paul with Walks In Spain for our tour. We had a fantastic walk, with all the arrangements being made for us. It exceeded our expectations in every aspect. We highly recommend Walks In Spain to guide you on your Camino deSantiago.

Our group of four used Paul, with Walks in Spain, to make arrangements for walking the last 110 km of the Camino de Santiago. He set up our train from Madrid to Sarria, our lodging each evening, our group pickup of our certificates in Santiago, and a tour of Finisterre at the end. He was always helpful, informative, easy to reach and ready with helpful suggestions. Our lodging was always high quality, and the dinners and breakfasts were abundant and delicious. I can't recommend his company enough.
