“Camino Ways - September 2012”
Reviewed October 1, 2012

We used the services of Camino Ways for transfers and booking our accommodation on recent walk on the Camino, from Sarria to Santiago de Compostela. Our pre-booked transfer didn't materialise but we were able to get on Camino Ways coach to Sarria. Roland was very attentive to the problem and phoned several times to follow up the matter. Our money was refunded on our return so no harm done! Daily transfers of bags worked out and bags nearly always got to the destination before us.
September is high season on the Camino so we were glad to have our accommodation booked in advance. All hotels were very satisfactory. I highly recommend the Hesperia San Martin Pinario in Santiago de Campostela. Breakfasts varied but were adequate. We needed a second breakfast by about 11.30am along the route anyway! Two of our hotels did not serve breakfast before 8am which is very late for 'pellegrinos' who have a long walk ahead. One owner arranged for us to go to a local coffee shop which was 100% satisfactory. The second hotel was not so flexible. On the other hand it was great 'rustic' hotel with a lovely swimming pool to relax by and I know that Roland has followed up the late breakfast since our return.
Suffice to say that Camino Ways will do everything they can to have happy, satisfied customers and I am happy to recommend them to others. Next trip we plan to walk to route from Tia in Portugal. Thanks to all at Camino Ways.

“Would use again.”
Reviewed September 23, 2012

We undertook the most well trodden route from Sarria to Santiago de Compostela and would thoroughly recommend travelling with CaminoWays. All accommodation was clean, though some rooms smaller than others (but good enough for one night) and always a choice from the pilgrims menu for dinner which included water and a bottle of house wine. Notes, directions and camino passports all arrived well in advance of our departure. Our more complex travel arrangements were catered for (split party arriving on two separate days from two locations). Would definitely use again.
