Situated in the buildings boarding the catedral cloister. Not only the collections but also the building itself is worth a visit. In the canons library are exposed the Botafumeiro (big thuribles). Furthermore some interesting remains of the other churches that previously occupied the site of the actual catedral. Reconstruction of the stone choir stools of Maestro Mateo, crypt beneath the Portico de la Gloria,...

A behind-the-scenes tour with excellent guide {Laura} who took us through various normally unseen rooms and then out on to the roof. Marvellous views all over the old town

When Europe had 30 million people, one million of them visited this place every year. The traffic must have been enormous and dominated the trade. Good to see a diorama of what the city looked like then.

Lovely little place that I would more than their entrance fee to visit! Cloister area and others above are particularly interesting. The chapel of the relics is AMAZING, largest collection of relics I've ever seen in one room, even compared to the Vatican. Hard to describe but the place has a lot of depth and character...as you're walking through the cloister over the gravestones of priests recently and less recently deceased you know you're in a living space as well. Bring Rick Steves' guidebook or something equivalent to help you appreciate the place.

It's situated actually in the cathedral. But everybody visit the Cathedral, less people visit the museum. Fine collection of church art and 2 beautiful chapels Chapel of Relics and Chapel of St-Femando, interior of Reneissanse cloister. Tapestries by Rubens, and Goya!!! I like it more than Cathedral itsself. Pay the fee anf have a look. Also one can have a look from Great balcony over the square with lots of tired, but happy pilgrims. Do it, you will never forget capellas - both of them are spesial, in comparison with this Pilgrims museum is a waist of time. Start with upper floors, if you have little time.
