“Great place to stay”
Reviewed September 16, 2012

Highly recommended, shuttle service into town, great location to visit other parts of galicia, only downside seem to be short staffed other than that rooms were brilliant with separate lounge area leading onto terrace, very quiet location so good place to chill. September 2012

The hotel has easy access to all directions and is located near the airport. It is quiet, we could sleep with open windows. The staff is friendly and professional. The rooms and the beds have a good quality and everything is clean. For Breakfast you will find a rich variety. Parking is free and easy. There is a little parc for a quick walk. It is a comfortable hotel, but nothing special. It's more like a conference style hotel.

We stayed here for 1 night after driving from the ferry at the beginning of our holiday. We wanted somewhere that was easy to find on the outskirts of the city, with free parking. The hotel is a grandiose building on a hill quite way out of the city. We were given a room in one of two terraces of rooms across from the main entrance. Each room had it's own parking space underneath and there was a nicely furnished living room and glazed terrace / or balcony. The furnishings were of a very good standard.

The grounds are very well kept, with a pool and a chapel. It was too cold, even in August to use the pool .

Service in the Lobby was haphazard as it was difficult to get anyone's attention. However we ordered wine on room service and it was quite reasonably priced and quick.

We ate in the restaurant in the evening and had a very good meal with pleasant service. In the morning there was a good buffet breakfast. We took the minibus into town but got a cab back as the service goes off during siesta time. I wouldn't want to stay here for a longer stay as it was quite a way out but it was fine as a stopover.

We had a wonderful junior suite here that was very luxurious for the money, but nothing except a full buffet breakfast is available until later in the morning (9:00 or 9:30 if you can find anyone). Furthermore, our one meal in the dining room was served with great aplomb but the food was mediocre at best. And it was not particularly cheap. The bus service to the city center is very good but be sure you have a cell phone that works to call for it when you are at the center. Service was excellent and very helpful.

If you speak Spanish it would probably be a great place to stay. Since I don't, I would not recommend. Lobby bar service is scarce. Have walked out on a couple of bills because I couldn't find anyone to pay. However, the restaurant downstairs is very quick to bring the bill, usually in the middle of the meal. No consistency, advertised a airport shuttle. There is none and any one who may speak English becomes disinterested if you complain. Definitely a no go in my book

A modern impressive hotel between the airport and the city and near Monte Gozo the pilgrims first view of the city. Very comfortable rooms with good bathrooms, excellent buffet breakfast, plenty of free parking. A shuttle bus which takes you in and out of the city centre near the old town from 9 a.m. Until 8.30 p.m. (The driver is a mine of local information) On demand. Beautiful landscaped gardens and outdoor swimming pool.

Room Tip: The main hotel has the best views.

Our room was HUGE! And we slept in complete silence and comfort. The beds are great, the temperature in the room was perfect and the hallway was quiet. Very fancy and posh. The receptionists are friendly and helpful and most speak English quiet well. The shuttle to town made the 2 KM trip convenient and the driver gave us very useful information about getting around town and what sites to visit. Brkfst wasn't cheap, but they did have some egg choices besides the usual European fare.

Room Tip: We were on the first floor not far from the receptionists desk and couldn't hear a peep. So pro...
