Have eaten there four times in the last two weeks. Can't get past the terneda asada. So tender and flavorful. Usually had salad or tortilla as my first plate. There is a male waiter in the dining room who always served us. His English is excellent and he was always gracious.

Had our first introduction to Galician food at this restaurant. Tapas bar on the ground floor, restaurant on the floor above. All the standards were on the menu and very well cooked. Good selection of wines but the local house white wine was very drinkable. Relaxed cheerful atmosphere with staff who provided excellent service. went back 3 times the week we were in Santiago.

These were the best two meals we had in Spain! Fresh, vibrant salads! A perfectly prepared sole (be ready to bone it yourself), and beautiful veal. Lovely, homey starters. The highlight? Flan! Two of them on the menu, one traditional and one more like a cheese-cake, both magnificent!

You can certainly enjoy drinks and snacks with the locals on the praza, or something light on the ground floor, but the upstairs has been recently redone and to sit enjoying a meal by an open upstairs window is blissful.

Spent only one night in Santiago and were lucky to go into this, until then, not rated on tripadvisor restaurant. Went in by chance while walking the old city. Tried a beer and they gave us some free tortilla, and it ended up being the best tortilla espanola that we tasted in Spain. So we decided that since it was so good the food should also be good. We were not disappointed. I ordered the chuleton and was terrific, juicy and tender and lots of flavor. Also the pulpo a la gallega was tender and fresh. Reccomended 100%.

This is one spot not to miss if you are going for tapas. Spanish omelete and croquetas are among the best in town.
