The staff was really friendly, the room was clean. You can walk in couple of minutes to the Cathedral in the Old town or to the shops "in the new town". Nice cafes and restaurant close to Fornos. Arriving with two suitcases can be a little bit difficult because the reception is on the second floor. It was easy to came by taxi to Fornos, the price was 20 euro one way.

After slogging out 30 days on the Camino in albergues that were often pretty horrible, staying 2 nights at Fornos was like coming home. The reception staff were welcoming and helpful and quickly arranged the extra night I needed. A really comfortable bed, excellent ensuite bathroom and decent wifi all made me a happy man. The room I had was at the back of the building so was quiet. I understand rooms at the front are to be avoided as the street noise in this part of town goes on almost until dawn and the windows are not double glazed. The location is very close to the old town, less than one block away. You need to have sharp eyes to spot the entrance - it's tucked away in an alcove and you have to take a tiny lift up to the second floor to find reception. The bus to the airport departs from right across the road, which was a nice little bonus. I would definitely stay here again.

Room Tip: Get a room at the back. Even if you have to pay extra for a double room this will be worth it for th...

Clean and very welcoming to new residents, a little difficult to find the entrance next to a shop entrance next to the shop display.
Excellent access to the city in 5 mins or so and very close to airport bus stop.
Does not provide food but many bars/restaurants are close by with a reasonable value

Room Tip: ask for a room at the rear

Lovely little pension. Modern style furnishing, good bathrooms, spotlessly clean. Very helpful staff. Highly recommended. Excellent location across the road from airport bus stop and 2 minutes to the old town.

Was directed to this hotel by Tourist Information. Just outside the old town, it was a bit confusing as to where the entrance was; it's shared with an English school on the lower floor. For the price, I expected no frills and was more than satisfied with the room and the friendliness of the staff. Would certainly recommend for accommodation in its class.

This is a quiet and nice hotel. If you choose a room at the backside of the hotel, you will not be bothered by the traffic on the front side. The staff was very friendly, and created a good atmosphere.

The room was simple and clean, and the bathroom was great. The bed was hard and not very comfortable.

The location is just brilliant; right outside the old town, and a five minutes’ walk to the cathedral. If you are heading for the airport, there is a bus and taxi stop on the other side of the square facing the hotel. The taxi takes 20 minutes and costs 20 Euro. The bus (orange and white) takes 45 minutes and leaves every half hour (6:00, 6:30 and so on).

This small hotel (no restaurant) on the second and third floor in a commercial building is a little hard to find with its entrance tucked away between two retail stores. But on on Plaza de Galicia, close to bus lines (including the airport bus), railway station, the historical town, the cathedral, and all amenities, it is an excellent choice for the budget conscious traveler. The rooms are clean and the beds comfortable. The reception staff is very helpful.
