Description: The O 'Fado restaurant is located on the Sea walk near the Acuarius and the Domus, a privileged setting in the beautiful province of A Coruña. It offers homemade Galician cuisine of an incomparable quality. The specialty of the house par excellence is Rice, prepared in different ways and with the best products coming from our coasts. If you wish, you can take it home. The seasonal dish is the Laconada, star product of the summer. The O 'Fado restaurant is the best option to enjoy a quiet and pleasant meal overlooking the bay and A Coruña. Hundreds of satisfied customers endorse our reputation. The facilities we have are exceptional. You can count on a spacious living room, with large windows that allow you to observe unique views. And not only stays there, you will also have a garden area at the front of the restaurant and a playground where the little ones can enjoy while you finish your dessert.

We went there on a Sunday noon without a reservation and we were told that all tables were booked, however, they said they would call one of the clients to double check whether they would be actually coming. Judging by the phone call, the people were unable to confirm their attendance for 100% so we got their table which was really nice. The experience was absolutely wonderful. We began with Albariño wine de casa with free empanada de pulpo which were great. I would definitely opt for the cheapest wine since it was so good anyways. We had zamburiñas gratinadas, navajas, almejas en salsa marinera and pulpo a la feira and I have to say the navajas were the best ones I had in my life, similarly like the zamburiñas gratinadas. I would definitely come back over and over again. Don’t be discouraged by rather old decor and hidden location; the views are amazing and the food is definitely worth it. Service was great too. Definitely one of the best experiences I ever had.

This restaurant is actually hidden where it is supposed to be. It actually have like 10 tables. We went there looking for the rice. I can only say it’s excellent. It’s pricey but the you can buy two dishes for four people. The serve you the rice on the pan where it’s cooked. Spanish 100%. Nice

We enjoyed our lunch of tapas here; not as good value or quality as some of the central La Coruna places but very acceptable nonetheless. Service was a bit slow/ sporadic but they were busy and seemed a bit understaffed. We loved the tapas we ordered. Our younger family members order something called nata con chocolate, and were a bit bemused to receive large slices of Vienneta...!

The restaurant can be found nearby Torre de Hercules and we took the chance to go there after a long walk for lunch.
Nothing wrong with the food and the service but nothing extraordinary either. We found it overpriced compared to other restaurants in La Coruña, possibly due its location and the season.

We visited this restaurant for a family lunch, and as we live on the same street, we had to try!! Well, we had a wonderful time, fish and meat dishes were tasty and the service was friendly and quick. We will return soon for sure.
