A hotel with a very modern feel. Spacious room with large bathroom. Very comfortable bed. WiFi worked really well. Breakfast was a mixed bag, nice coffee but orange juice rather weak. Easiest to find if you use Google Street View - Google Maps seems to go an odd route. It's just a case of crossing the road outside the station then heading slightly downhill, which takes you over a main road, and you'll see the hotel from there. It's one of the rare places in the city that isn't closely surrounded by tall buildings - the whole city is very claustrophobic otherwise.

We were a group of 3, that wanted to make the English St James path, starting from Ferrol. We were supposed to stay in another place, that unfortunately didn’t open us the door, and Avenida was our last-minute alternative.
From the outside we got a bit afraid as it is next to a gas station and it felt like a road, old hotel. however we get inside it was a very good surprise. The hotel seems very new, the rooms were tidy and clean and comfortable. It has all the necessary amenities and facilities. The frontdesk clerk was very helpful and provided us a place to store the bikes.

Clean and confortable room. Very clean toilet. Far from center, so is better to have a car. Easy parking outside. Entrance with car a little confusing. I didnt try restaurante or breakfast. Nice staff.

Stayed a few nights and enjoyed the modern comfort and cleanliness of the room. Location is close to the train station and walking distance to the waterfront and old town (a bit of a walk though). Only negative for me was the reception staff which were not very friendly or helpful.
