If you want a bit of 4 star luxury with a beach side position and views of the bay, then this Is it. A two day stop over gave my wife and I a chance to see this historic town and sample some excellent local food. This hotel is a traditional Spanish 4 star site with garage parking and excellent service. There is a small restaurant attached to the hotel if, like us you get caught out in an Atlantic storm, but this hotel is positioned right on the bay, but there is a busy road between it and the beach.

The breakfast buffet was very good, with an all you can eat policy. Very competitively priced for this class of hotel, recommended.

Room Tip: Ask for a sea view, well worth it.

This Hotel is situated right on the sea front. The road between it and the beach is busy during the day but quite quiet at night, we had no trouble sleeping with the window wide open. However we were disturbed by the crowd when there was a home football match on - the stadium is close by. The room we had was quite modern but, as others have noted, the public parts of the hotel have a slightly dated feel - think 1970's East European! However, all the basics are fine - the staff were helpful and polite, the room was clean and comfortable, the parking was OK (might have been more difficult in a big car as the spaces are tight). The breakfast is OK too.

One word of warning, do not even think about driving to this hotel without a pre-booked parking slot. The public parking slots in the vicinity are short-term only and always full, in any case. Double or even triple parking seems to be the norm is this area.

Room Tip: Ask for a sea view - it costs more but is well worth it.

Loved the Beach view room, sleeping to the Sound of the Waves. Fantastic Promenade right in Front, with Beach. Was Good for swimming, but Not warm. Room and bathroom a Bit dated, Minor leak in the bathroom. Was perhaps us being overexuberant when showering.

Room Tip: Spend the extra Dollar on the Sea view

Rooms condition is poor, very old furniture and bathroom. On the other hand it has a good location by the Riazor beach, walking distance from the city heart. The service was correct and helpful.
It has a private parking place that you need to book in advance, otherwise they offer another one close by for the same price.

Room Tip: Ask for sea view, otherwise just keep the curtain shut.

As soon as you enter the elegant and ample hall of the hotel, you can see that this must have had a more glorious time in the past. Everything in the hotel is a bit old-fashioned, including the rooms which are big enough but with no luxury in the details. Breakfast, for example, is a continental buffet, with enough food but not much variety.

The absolute best thing about this hotel is its location, specially if you are in A Coruña for a beach vacation: it's just ten meters away from the beach, and some of the rooms have an spectacular view of the bay. If you stay in this hotel, make sure to ask for one of those rooms with ocean view.

As for the price, I was there for a conference and I had a special price, so it was quite convenient for me. But I don't know if normal prices are much higher.

Room Tip: Ask for an ocean view room!

All in the hotels just stayed as it was during the 70s or the begining of the 80s but it give to this hotel a real "cachet". Because, it is very clean and fairly comfortable, with free wifi and a beautifull view on the sea (with a little supplement). I was at the ninth florr and really enjoyed the view. The only a problem, but it could be a big one, is that rooms are not well soundproffed.
Good value for money.

This is a hotel placed in a Coruña North west of Spain perfect to sleep nicely and relax looking at the sea in the 8th floor looking to the city bay and the amazing sunsets.
The staff is well qualified, they speak english, portuguese fluent and it's own by a long tradition family business well known in the city

Room Tip: Book a room in the top floor with window to the bay.
