We knew this restaurant because the owner used to run a nearby restaurant that we were not very pleased with, but we decided to give El de Alberto a chance and we were pleasantly surprised. The service is very good, they provide explanations and suggestions all the time without being intrusive. Fantastic croquettes and puff pastry with veg, prawn and foie for starters. Everybody liked their meat and fish mains, I also liked the wild sea bass myself, though the lemon cream was too lemony, and the dish lacked some counterpoint, such as greens or potato or some side for the fish. The special of the day was a yummy lentil soup with prawns and more foie. I didn't have dessert but the berries in white chocolate soup looked pretty. Will probably return.
