Even as this museum presents its permanent exhibition only in Spanish and Galician, its interactive displays are appealing to foreigners as well. Its focus is on the human mind and body and thus it is in a way interesting for everybody. The building was designed by a Japanese architect and though it is outstanding on the A Coruna waterfront, it lacks maintenance and from a closer look, it it is actually in a quite sad situation. Nevertheless it is worth a visit!

“Poor”
2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 4, 2013

Very noisy museum, as it seems only attracts kids. They definetely need to update most of it, as it seems very old, and some of the atractions in the museum don´t work, or they can barely work out.
Also, there is no wifi access, and the staff does not seem to care about the people attending to the museum (they are usually chatting at the counter) not even asking the kids to behave properly in the museum.
I was also expecting more intercultural spaces, it only reflects european culture, no latinamerican influences, or asian whatsoever.

It's a must see science museum if you are visiting A Coruna. There are many activities to keep you going through out the visit. The only downside is that the writings are in Spanish / Galician so you have to have a Spanish speaker with you to translate the descriptions, it would have been perfect if they had a translation in English too but apart from this it was a great visit and highly recommended.
