Would definately go back. Clean, nice staff, beach & pool excellent (although the pool was only open 12-5pm). Security was very visible. Think it might be noisey and very busy in July & August.

Room Tip: Depends on what you would want - check out the map on the internet. You may want to be near the bea...

There were two many rules around the pool for the children no tea shirts in pool even if they were sunburnt no little balls in in the pool no shoes or trainers around the pool it felt like we were in school again & the language barrier was very poor not many peolple spoke English except a few in reception. Very little night life there & was over too early especially at the weekends. The security at night were very arrogant & could'nt speak any English. We could'nt talk very much after 12.45 am outside our own villa or we would be told to be shush! shush! Our villa was full of ants & we had to get ant power to get rid of them in the wardrobes & when asked to have it cleaned was told we would have to pay 25.00Euro to have it cleaned by maintence not good enough at all had to clean our place for the two weeks & request clean linning,we paid a lot of money for a bad serivce we would not reccomend to any one for the future. Also was told if you lost your band around your arm it would cost 10.00Euro the villa were very small for five people & was not fully air conditioned & also had to pay 50cent for every two hoursFood was ok but a little dear for what you got just not good enough in this day & age I think.

Room Tip: Just try & get to know the terms & conditions before you go.

Just back from 2 weeks on a Canvas Mobile home which for anyone planning to book is on a completely separate site outside this park across a road which would be difficult to cross especially for families with very small children. You also have to wear a fob style armband at all times to access the main site and are quite far from the main facilities. The Canvas site is also locked at night with only a small gate for access which on one night during our stay was also locked at midnight and a family with very young children had to physically climb over!

The main site is very clean and very well laid out with good facilities including several bars and places to eat, a good supermarket, a well equipped gym etc. The pool area is large but only opens at 11 am in high season which is a bit late and does get exceptionally busy. the beach bar and restaurant are very nice although all the eateries are on the expensive side and service is fairly slow and disorganised especially at the poolside snack bar. The adjacent beach is wonderful and so large it never gets really packed even at weekends when the locals arrive in numbers. The castle is a beautiful building especially when lit up at night and if you get a chance there is Mass on Sunday morning in the wonderful chapel. Also worth a visit is Altafulla which is a walk up the beach especially the old quarter and the church on the hill. It is popular with Spanish Holidaymakers and here as on the site very little English is heard or spoken, We also drove to Tarragona and Torredembara which were lovely and Salou which wasn't!

Overall we had a great time and I would recommend the site but just advise anyone thinking of booking with Canvas to be aware of the location of their mobile homes away from the actual campsite

A very well run campsite. We were here for three weeks. Our pitch was steps from the beach and near the restaurant and bar. Despite this close proximity we didn't experience much noise. The site is very busy at weekends and then it is very noisy.
The staff at reception were very pleasant and helpful. The area is most pretty and we enjoyed trips to Barcelona,Tarragona, Montblanc and the mountainous area as well as seeing paddyfields int e Delta region. Nearest town is Amposta.
The beach at Torrendembarra was fabulous ( Los Manicos is a simple bar restarant just set back from the beach near the tourist office and serves excellent food) but I have to say that we thoroughly enjoy walks into Altafullah by way of the beach. We did this many times as this little town is a joy to walk round. Don't mis the old town which is on the hill. Altafullah is a hidden gem.
The paella at the site restaurant was the best we have had in Spain and the swimming pool restarant was also very good. Again all staff were great.
We had a take away pizza and this was not good. 8.50 euros for a small thin dried up pizza around the edges was poor value. Certainly not recommended.

The shop was well stocked and the prices were competitive with the Euroski supermarket on the main road into Altafullah. The on site bakery was good too.
The only negative is that the midnight quiet rule should be enforced. Twice we encountered unacceptable noise coming from the beach in the early hours and it was quite a long time before security did anything about it.

I could certanly recommend Camping Tamarit for a family holiday.

Having arrived after a long drive with family and friends, we were greeted with friendly and helpful staff. The camp site was very clean with staff on hand cleaning all the time. Although we cooked all the time the Take-away service was a good backup for my two teenager sons, they never went hungrey. The beach was really nice with things for the boys to do i.e Banana boat, Paddle boats, and Kayaking with plenty of snorkling. We had such a great time this year we are all planning a return visit next year.

This park is okay but I had my bike stolen whilst I was there. The area is clean and staff at reception firendly however many Spanish campers come at the weekend and this is when my bike was stolen from the pitch right outside my caravan door. I have travelled across Spain and this is the first time I have ever had anything stolen. The pitches on the platinum site are good but you can not connect your water to the tape as it is to low to the ground and not the right connection for most hose connectors. The bar on the beach is lovely and staff very friendly there. So if you are visiting please beaware of your possessions on your pitches.

set off from calais at 8am sat, arrived at millau about 8pm.after we put the overnight tent up had a quick stir fry cooked on the single stove, fell into tent for a good night sleep.next morning set off at 9am could not leave the area without going to the view point of the viaduct ,what a experience took lots of photographs.it was 3pm when we arrived at the resort ,booked in got the map of the site, the pitches were lovely each with a hedge to make it a little private.the shower rooms were spotless, cleaners it seemed around the clock cleaning.security was great had no problem with them ,and with children going off every 5 mins on their bikes just made you feel even more relaxed.beach side location was just what made our holiday, not to get in the car every day for the beach was lovely.i am sure we would go back again for the weather and the campsite.
