I am a regular visitor to Sitges and make a point of eating at La Borda on every visit. Its a traditional restaurant serving a variety of Catalan dishes. The menu is varied with several set menu choices all of which are great value for money. I think that their fish casserole is fantastic.
The proprietors have retained original features of the interior, wooden beams, traditional tiling and lighting all help to create a homely atmosphere. The staff are incredibly friendly, the fact that their English is limited is a plus, simply reminding me that I am on holiday abroad!
The restaurant can be quiet if you are eating before 21.00ish, so don't be put off if it looks a bit empty. Social life in Sitges starts late so many restaurants which are slightly off the beaten track are quieter until late!
I'll be in Sitges again soon, and Will definitely have a few nights in La Borda on my itinerary!
