Stayed 6 nights in Room 301 for 388EUR all incl. we arrived after midnight thanks to Easyjet but we were buzzed in and told over the intercom that the key was waiting on the reception desk. We didn't see the receptionist the next day so it wasn't until the following day money/ID etc was called for. Very trusting.

The room wasn't large but we had a comfortable clean double bed with 2 good sized wardrobes and a decent bathroom with full bath.
The real bonus to this room was the balcony. Make sure you ask for a balcony room as there just wasnt the space for 2 people with suitcases in our room.
The linen and towels were regularly changed and the staff were extremely helpful with excellent English. It also worth mentioning it was quiet every night of our stay.
From the front door take a right onto the main st. and a few hundred yards down is a small supermarket. At the end of this road take a right and you're in the heart of the shopping area leading down to the beach.
My 2 top recommedations for food are Lizarran on Calle Sant Pau for really great cheap tapas and La Marinada just off San Sebastian beach front (between buenos aires on the corner and the next row of seafront restaurants) is by far the best seafood around. Both were recommended by friends who live locally and having been to Sitges a few times now we would agree.

Simple yet cosy room in a characerless building. Staff friendly and helpful. Room window was facing a quiet, somewhat Hong-Kong-esque courtyard. Several electrical cables in the room were in very dubious shape (e.g. live wires stuck together with duct tape), so guests should take care not to be electrocuted.

The place itself was very nice, and the location was excellent for beach and centre of town.
However - the shower did not work and when we went downstairs for help no one was available, this was the case several times and even when we rang the hostel no one picked up.

we actually wanted to book the parrots, but there was no response form their website enquiry, so we tried hostal termes instead. afterall, the reviews sounded good here.

we booked online and requested for room on top floor with balcony, but the email response form the management was that our room is secured. we arrived a little earlier than the check in time, so we were told to go have a walk around while they hang on to our luggage and sort out the rooms.

when we got back, we were given the room on the ground floor. very sad room with poor lighting. the window's blocked such that the outside cant reach in, so we had the yellow lights on at all times. the bathroom was old and the bathtub was painted on. looks like it was broken and mended a few times. the water pressure is really good. so after each shower, we have a pool of water on the bathroom floor. and there were no bathroom floor drain. so we have to use our bath towels to line the floor.

the bed's a bit dented with danky but clean linens. the aircon was too cold so we end up wearing lots to bed. we paid about 80+ euros. and i've had better rooms for that price in other parts of spain. maybe sitges is just not my town...

This place is great, cheap and a great location. They don't do breakfast but that doesn't matter as their location means they are surrounded by plenty of restaurants, cafes and bars. Friendly staff, I'd stay here again.
