Although quite new to the sea front, Red Velvet Bakery is a lovely place to dine. There are set prices for the starters, main and dessert and although the menu is not extensive, there is something for everyone. The staff were attentive and the food very good. The house red is also worth mentioning. Looking forward to returning for their steak.

I really did enjoy reading breakfast here every morning, that is until I found a hair in my breakfast, which unfortunately made it my last breakfast here (I have this thing with hair). Even though I think the breakfast is a great value. Ate dinner here one night, which was not at all good, the mussels and baked chicken dinners were bland and hard to finish, also the baked chicken dinner was lukewarm, like it's a reheated meal, not a fresh one. The bakery products are pretty good. My opinion is that Red Velvet Bakery greatest asset is Carlos (I think that's his name) the morning waiter, helpful, patient, willing to the dishes and ask the chef to make changes. This place has alot of potential, but they have to up their game and get some better recipes...consistently good food and good service are top keys to success. I'll go back if I'm in Sitges again for breakfast, especially for that amazing coffee.

Okay, the above was a joke. I did like this bakery a lot. Their superfood salad was a welcome break from Spanish cuisine. All the ingredients were fresh and organic. Great place to have a healthy lunch.

It's hard travelling as a vegetarian in Spain, especially with a partner that isn't and who turns his nose up at completely veggie restaurants (not that there are very many of those in Spain). Finding this place that has several veggie options but that also feeds carnivores was very wecome! About two out of three restaurants in Sitges, if you discount the pizzerias, simply have no vegetarian options on the menu at all. Nothing.

Having found a restaurant with veggie options, and having told the waiter as he seated us how very pleased I was to find a veggie-friendly restaurant in Sitges, it was something of a disappointment to be served an "amuse bouche" of a crostini with tomato and... a white anchovy. Yuk.

The Baba Ganoush starter and "Superfood" salad main course were very good, though. My partner enjoyed his roast chicken dish too.

As you might expect in a venue that seems to be cafe by day and restaurant at night, the cakes are probably their speciality. We had cupcakes for dessert, and they were really rather good.

Drinks were very reasonably priced for the location, a bottle of local Cava costing only about £10, and it was quite quaffable. :)
