We booked for last Saturday’s cabaret show and overall was very disappointed. We visited the restaurant on the Friday evening to book and check the place out – seemed very nice with extremely helpful staff explaining we would be seated outside but, would have a good view of the show. We were asked to arrive at 9.00, the show was billed to start at 9.30, we appreciated there would be a choice of 2 set meals to have during the show. We were looking forward to this experience.

On arrival – really nice helpful staff greeted us (they were part of the act later in the evening – very dramatic and tall due to their heels)! The menu was for 2 fixed prices, each had a choice for the main course – this seemed a logical approach for a show meal. We chose a local Spanish white wine – this was fine. The meal was OK, not outstanding as per other reviews. We had the monkfish which had a tomato sauce covering it (when presented this was off putting due to the sauce congealing) – this sauce was too over powering for the flavours of the fish and also covered a layer of lemon which again hid any natural fish taste.

We had eaten the first 2 courses by 10pm – still no show started.

We were then not served for over 80 minutes – no drinks (yes we had drunk our bottle of wine and water by this stage in the evening, so this place was missing a business opportunity to sell more to their customer)! The problem appeared to be the decent waiters were in the show, leaving some incompetent staff to try and do this role. Seeing fingers and hair going into dishes being served is unhygienic!

The show started at 10.30 – which was OK. We could see the show but not hear it very well outside, so it became very boring – looking around the tables outside, we were not alone with this thought!

So sitting at our table bored and ignored, things got worse when one of the acts came outside and knocked the neighbouring table (accidentally) which in turn knocked over the wine cooler (an unstable bag of water at this time) over me!

I complained to a member of staff who did not show any empathy when dealing with my complaint; no apology or anything (that is all I wanted)!

Bored and damp we wanted our desert – which we had to ask for more than once. Instead another bottle of wine appeared – which we did not want or order, so sent it back.

Eventually we got our Profiteroles which were nothing special, with what appeared and tasted like a horrendous squirt of artificial cream – yuk!

We then had to ask for the bill more than once – we explained that we were not happy with the evening. The manager started processing our credit card – he then threw the card back at us – claiming he was voiding the transaction because if we were not happy we should not pay. This was done in a very abrupt / rude fashion.

We were not happy about this – we had eaten food and drunk wine and water, so we expected to pay something for items received. I went inside to explain we wanted to pay. The manager explained – he only gets good reviews on Trip Advisor, he does not want a bad review so he will not charge us for the meal, to prevent such a review appearing!

I left cash on the bar (€100 and not the full €121 being charged for a meal for 2 with 1 bottle of wine and 1 bottle of water). This meant I could leave an accurate review on Trip Advisor.

In summary an average meal, OK show (shame you could not hear much outside) and some very rude / arrogant staff that dragged the experience rating down to terrible.

We work fresh products, for a cooking which we want simple and tasty.
Sorry if this recipe of " Seabass in Capers and Tomato " has not Delighted the author of this "Hard Review".

This Opinion is a subjective opinion, it is not making it honest or objective!
Other evoked points, (up to "100 euro ghosts" left on the Bar!) are his version, to him only.
Made to draw up a report to the Vitriol … Doubtless motivated by some frustration or by its humiliation to be knocked down HIMSELF the "Ice Bag" , which was on its table, while he got
some wine.

The evenings of Cabaret, the timing and the organization are, has this day, always the same:
The Dinner is served starting 9:00 pm
The show begins at 10:15 pm

The staff of service (consisted of professionals under contract), is in post, to the service, throughout the evening, NOT ON STAGE!
It is one artists who is in room for the welcome and who then participates in the show.
AT NO TIME he makes the service!

Even if it's not perfect, We speak about 5 foreign languages to try to communicate at best with our customers and to excuse ourselves if necessary.
Almost totality of the opinions left on Tripadvisor, testifies of it:
Our staff is professional, courteous, nice, attentive, effective and of an excellent presentation.

Even if we attach a daily particular attention on the Hygiene, on the Cooked Products, on the Welcome, on the Notion of Service, on the Listening of our Customers … I am well conscious that it is impossible to make the unanimity, but in certain cases, as here, we have to admit that ' we cannot make the happiness of people if they don't want it !

We do not claim to be able to be perfected but, every day we are rewarded by customers who show us their pleasure. It is what motivates us!
Thanks to Them!

This is a friendly and exciting venue to eat in. Entertainment Cabaret style and overlooking the Harbour and overlooked by the Church. Delightful! But it is the food that stars here - OK it isn't cheap compared to other places to eat but it is very worth it as the quality is excellent. Friendly welcoming staff and we'll defo be going again on our next visit to Sitges. Next time tho' we'll try a saturday night which I understand one has to book.

The seafront location could have led to a plain tourist-oriented average place but this fairly new restaurant is certainly a notch above the rest. The portions were on the small side, but the taste was good. Too bad that the house wine of poor quality was; there's no need for this in Spain. The service however is very good, both from the owners and the servers. Recommendable.

We saw the review on TA but the service and meal surpassed expectations. We were greeted by Laurent who speaks impeccable English and then looked after really well all evening by him and the rest of he staff. My 2 teenagers and I opted for the Menu du Jour & between us had wonderful Duck cooked in honey, the most deliciuous Salmon and great starters and desserts. Was very reasonable at €23 and Laurent suggested a local wine from Sitges region which was fabulous. My husband couldn't resist the Tournados which he said was winderful. Great location on the main street & we could people watch while enjoying our meal. We may return for another meal at th end of holiday here. Many thanks.
