Passeig Maritim/Paseo Marítimo is a busy stretch of beaches in Sitges. The further south you go, the less busy the beaches. But all of them are clean and inviting. There are many cafes and restaurants and hotels along the passeig and a little 'train' will take you from the church of Santa Tecla at the busy north end, to the Terramar hotel at the quieter south end, it's about €3. On one of the central groynes there is an interesting pink triangle monument to those gay men who died in the Nazi concentration camps during World War II.

This is the place for a lovely stroll admiring the Mediterranean in all its moods.
Also of course you may jog, skate even cycle ( if you are very young)
Best of all is to choose a bench and people watch.

The beaches here are great. Clear waters, not too high waves, and it only gets deeper 70-80 meters into the sea and it was just the right temperature throughout our whole holiday. At evening you can take a nice walks and checkout the nice sea front restaurants and terraces.

We visited Sitges on a day trip from Barcelona where we were staying. It is an easy 40 min trip by train and return fare is only €8. Nice to stroll along the prom and amble round the town. Climb the steps at the church and follow through to the east side for a different view and more family-friendly beach.
