Description: A small and cozy seafood restaurant where you’ll be able to enjoy the best quality seafood in Barcelona and its surroundings after taking a stroll through the beautiful coves of this fishing village. You can get to Paradeta Sitges using public transportation; the best option is using the Cercanías de Renfe (vicinity of the Renfe) line. This Paradeta is the first one outside the city of Barcelona, and the fourth establishment of the group to open, designed to enjoy our gastronomic offer in a Mediterranean setting outside the city.

“Pick, Pay & Eat”
Reviewed July 1, 2013 via mobile

This is a chance to have fresh seafood and not have to pay the high prices found in many tourist-focused restaurants.
You choose from the choices laid out on ice as you enter the restaurant and tell them how much of each you want. They send it to the kitchen and call you to pick it up as it is ready. We had a table full of a variety if hot, fresh seafood food for less than have the price of a typical restaurant. The quality of the food was noticeably better.

“Fabulous Find”
Reviewed February 3, 2013

This place is great. We wandered down a quiet laneway in Sitges when we saw this restaurant. It has no view and is at basement level. The decor is dated and you have to return your plates to the kitchen counter after you have finnished eating but the seafood is exceptional and the staff were all very friendly. As you enter the restaurant you are met by a large iced area covered in fresh seafood. You choose what you want and say how you would like it cooked...ie grilled or with a tomato sauce(mussels) and then you pay and sit down. Your number is called over a speaker and you go and collect it from the kitchen. We had two large crabs, grilled baby octopus, mussels in napoli type local sauce, salad and a bottle of wine for 40 Euros.... a wonderful experience... cant wait to return

“Beautiful fresh fish”
Reviewed September 30, 2012

Although the restaurant is very bright and lacks a bit of atmosphere the fish is fantastic and a "must eat" while visiting Sitges. It can be expensive depending on what you buy so make sure you pick well and have a few phrases ready in Catalan or Spanish to let the friendly staff know how you want it cooked. Definitely worth a visit!

“Great seafood”
Reviewed September 24, 2012

Had a wonderful meal here, seafood cooked fresh while you wait and very reasonable prices. Its like a fresh seafood take-away and you can also enjoy wine or beer with your meal.

“great fish and seafood - couldn't be fresher”
Reviewed September 1, 2012

Located on Calle Sant Pere down a few steps (and part of a small chain in Barcelona). It doesn't look particularly inviting from the outside but once inside it is great fun. You order your fish and shellfish at the large display counter and it is cooked to order -as you wish -fried, grilled etc. You listen out for you table number to be callled out when a dish is ready and then collect it from the kitchen hatch. Lively, fun, buzzy atmosphere. We arrived at 8.15 pm and got a table easily however after 9pm people were queuing for a table. Very reasonably priced meal and a great experience. Very friendly staff.
