We’ve been here for lunch hoping to sample something different, as the reviews suggested. But at the end, only the quaint hippieish decor has something to offer.
No seasoning on the salad, a strange mixture of lettuce, tomatoes, carrots and fruits... too much fruits... The toast wit Serrano ham was covered of a far too sweet kind of jam. Awful! How to ruin so good ingredients!!!!
Same for the cannelloni. Tasteless! Lack of seasoning, herbs, etc.
One of the worst meal I ever had.
And not that cheap either...

Dear. The toast carries a fig jam. He puts it in the letter. The salad if it takes fruit and vegetables varied. Next to those cute little hands with which he wrote so much frustration has very good olive oil. The cannelloni carry aioli if you do not think it's your pleasure to have commented on it. Do not overturn your personal frustrations here. Talk with us. He just lacked to say that we killed him the cat. A little openness of mind. See the funny hippy but as long as I do not touch it. Otherwise continue eating green salads.Estimado.

We were stopped in our tracks by the most delicious smell outside El Pati dela Veina and just knew from that and the quaint character of the frontage that this place was going to be GOOD.

The wonderfully friendly lady working showed us in and took us to a little table at the back overlooking the river. What a great spot and a little romantic during the day... At night it would be very romantic.

The lovely lady didn't speak any English and we can't speak any Spanish but she couldn't have been more helpful and jovial and made some great recommendations from the menu.

The food was absolutely delicious and the very generous glass of sangria was REALLY REALLY excellent. If we hadn't had a train to catch we would have settled in for the whole afternoon.

Has vegan options on the menu as well.

Thanks for making a trip to beautiful Girona even more special and memorable.

On of the few places that offer a menu at night in Girona. An quite cheap. Has vegan options. The place is a little crowded, full of recycled furniture. The workers were lovely.

A lovely location on the main calle and overseeing the river from some lovely bay windows. The service was friendly and competent and the food enjoyable in particular the empanadas that were the special for the evening, followed by the prize fixe menu for a very modest 12.5 euro including drinks. We chose the toasted bread with pernil, excellent, and the vegetable (watermelon) gazpacho (also great). The second plates were not as exciting, but still good. We had the cannelloni and the couscous with salmon. Quite abundant both. Good gluten free brownie as dessert.
