This restaurant has a wonderful setting, BUT that is where it ends, the staff were actually fighting with each other in front of the patrons & food could only be described as third rate. Pasta & cheese on toast & five slices of tough duck with a dried prune as the only accompaniment is a meal you can live without. After 6 weeks of traveling in France & loving our food this place was shameful. There are far better restaurants in Girona to be enjoyed. Try "Vinil" down the road if you enjoy good food!

We visited for lunch a few days ago. We can often find our way around a Spanish menu but in Catalan we had no idea. The waitress was delightful and said she would come back in a few moments and translate for us.
She explained every dish (and there were lots) in English, even saying things like "it tastes like shepherds pie."
The food was very nice (and different) and the restaurant was very full of locals (always a good sign).
The pudding menu was translated by a different girl. All in all a perfectly good meal in a lovely building with nice, helpful staff.

A must go to restaurant--atmospheric and charming. We popped in for a drink after the hotel recommended it and we were not disappointed. We returned for an evening meal the next day-Lovely.

A really nice restaurant in a beautiful part of town.

Had a 2 course lunch here - 20 euro including 2 glasses of wine. No English menu, but the helpful waitress translated for us.

Simple, quality food that was delicious!
