This really was the best stay I've ever had in a b and b. The house was beautiful, clean and comfortable with amazing views over Girona towards the mountains. The sunset from the balcony was beautiful. Carmen and Miquel are fantastic hosts, spoiling you and making sure you have everything you need for a delicious breakfast, eggs from their chickens, freshly picked blackberries. The room is well equipped with a well stocked fridge, perfect for drinking wine on the balcony. Also if you need to, there is a kitchen that you can use. If you want a relaxing break and be thoroughly spoiled come here.

Great welcome and lovely large room with a great balcony and a luxurious bathroom. The view from the balcony over the river and the panoramic sweep of mountains was breath taking. The pool was small but perfectly adequate, again with the views. Breakfast was very Spanish (why wouldn't it be?) but the real clincher at breakfast was that out host went to her hen house for fresh eggs for breakfast!
An unusual feature was the kitchen that guests can use and is stocked with water, bottles of wine and soft drinks - as an honesty option. The owners were most pleasant and helpful.
We will most definitely be back.

Room Tip: Ask for a room with mountain views.

We spent 2 nights here with our teenage son in August 2013 while we explored Girona and surroundings. Staying here in this wonderful villa with Carmen our gracious host was one of the highlights of our vacation. The rooms are beautiful, spotless and luxurious and the terrace views over Girona are exceptional. A 15 minute walk down a lovely path through gardens to town made it a perfect location.
The breakfast was scrumptious with homemade jams, baked goods and smoked salmon that Carmen even smokes herself. She was so thoughtful and sweet to put some salmon aside for us when we arrived late at breakfast since she knew we loved it so much.
There was nothing missing at this B&B. Fantastic villa, warm and welcoming hosts, beautiful rooms and impeccable service. We look forward to our next visit!!!

Room Tip: I would choose a room with a terrace again for the lovely views.

Stayed at this lovely BandB in Spring 2013 for 3 nights with a friend on our visit to Girona via www.gobarefoot.org.uk.

Carmen and Miquel were so lovely; warm and very welcoming! Room was lovely and the whole B and B was finished to a very high standard, sourced in an environmentally friendly way which Miquel was happy to talk to us and explain about. Well located - peaceful surroundings and a 15-20 minute walk into town meant that we were not far from the sights, shops and eateries. The rooms were beautiful with lovely attention to detail, giving our stay a personal touch.

The walk back from town to the B and B is uphill though, just to warn those with mobility issues to take into consideration.

I would definitely stay here again!! :)

Room Tip: Ask for a room away from the road for more peace and quiet from passing vehicles.

Our room was lovely - clean and luxurious, with a fancy shower and fluffy towels. The location is a wee bit inconvenient. Technically it's not far from the center of town but it's an uphill walk. There's a bus but it doesn't run very late. If you have a car, there's free parking at the big public park on the north end of town, if you want to avoid hiking up the hill on your way back. The owner was very friendly and helpful (although a bit of advice - skip the guided tour offered by the tourist office) but we had to check ourselves out in the morning (owners nowhere to be found) and pay our money to the housekeeper who was very nice but didn't speak any English, so that was a bit weird. Also we skipped breakfast, which I'm sure is very nice but seemed a bit pricey. We've stayed in B&Bs all over Spain, in big cities and in rural areas, and for the price we paid for Montjuic, we've had excellent breakfasts for free at other lovely B&Bs.

Senora Pujadas has my vote for the loviest B&B owner 2013. From our arrival (with our GPS gaff and Carmen phone guidance) to our hug-filled departure, there is nothing, nada, lacking here and don't visit Catalan without spending a night or two at Monjuic and Girona.b
Lovely en suite rooms on one level of her house (the family lives downstairs). And, oh my, how the breakfast was sensational - a beautiful dining table shared by all of the guests, and, oh those home made goodies.
Senora will show you a 10 min. pathway from her B&B to Old City but be careful in walking back in the dark - we got so lost and embarrassingly resorted to a three minute cab ride back to Montjuic B&B.

From when I made my first enquiry to the minute we left Montjuic, Carmen and Miquel could not do enough for us. Without asking she had a pack of information including a map of the city and recommendations of restaurants where we could eat and which did not disappoint. The house, its situation, the standard of accommodation were all excellent. This is a couple who deserve to succeed because their attention to detail is that of a five-star hotel - lovely linens, towels, delicious breakfast with local delicacies and home-made preserves - in a beautifully maintained house. The perfect start to our holiday and we will return for sure! Girona itself is delightful and the surrounding countryside and coastline around Begur stunning. I would recommend this as a base to explore the region. So pleased to be able to celebrate a couple who have vision.

Room Tip: Rooms with balcony overlooking the city of Girona are the best.
