“Beautiful and Atmospheric”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 1, 2013

Tiny, medieval streets leading from the centre up to the Cathedral with some nice quirky shops en-route. Very steep in places!

“A telling atmosphere”

A real authentic place retaining a 'lost in time ' atmosphere. Certainly the best Jewish quarters yet visited

“Great for the imagination”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 10, 2013

I had a book which gave a brief description of the areas of Girona, and I just loved its explanation for The Call. When you get there the myriad of tiny streets is just great, and it is so possible to imagine the kind of lifestyle that must have taken place there all those years ago. The shops are pretty good too!

“Far better than Barcelona”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 30, 2013

The Call is wonderful. There are loads of nooks and alleyways and it is easy to imagine it in days of old. The whole of Girona has a relaxed, elegant atmosphere and we fell in love with the city.

“A very quaint part of town”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 28, 2013

The little shops and the ambience of the area. A lovely area for a stroll with plenty of ice cream shops.
