I had a book which gave a brief description of the areas of Girona, and I just loved its explanation for The Call. When you get there the myriad of tiny streets is just great, and it is so possible to imagine the kind of lifestyle that must have taken place there all those years ago. The shops are pretty good too!

The Call is wonderful. There are loads of nooks and alleyways and it is easy to imagine it in days of old. The whole of Girona has a relaxed, elegant atmosphere and we fell in love with the city.

The little shops and the ambience of the area. A lovely area for a stroll with plenty of ice cream shops.

the old jewish quarter is stunning and lined with beautiful boutiques and restaurants. wear comfortable walking shoes as the cobbled streets and steps go on forever and you wont want to stop walking.

Nice way to spend an hour or so browsing the shops along the cobbled streets. It's a nice historic part of the city to learn about.
