“A wonderful trip to the past”
Reviewed April 20, 2014

I really enjoyed visiting the Girona Cathedral and Basilica. It was amazing to think that you were walking around something built so long ago by people long past. Well worth stopping in this delightful little town and visiting. I feel that Girona was my favourite place in Spain and I would not hesitate to return if I ever had the chance.

“Impressive”
Reviewed March 24, 2014

This cathedral evolved over 4 centuries so it is unlike some of the more classic cathedrals you find in Spain. It looks odd and non-symmetrical but is still mightily impressive. You can buy one ticket which will admit you to this and the neighbouring Basilica - good value.

“Stunning cathedral”
Reviewed March 15, 2014

Inside this old-walled city you will find easily this cathedral, seen from several Kilometres due to its high position. If you like the photography you will find some interesting points to take good shots from outside (inside the pictures are forbidden, with or without flash), just try to go when the tourists are still sleeping or already gone.
Inside, you'll be amazed for the extra-high roof and the ancient tombs of noble people. It's a place you should visit if you come to the town.
Check the garden hidden on one of its sides and if you feel like going, the small museum, but if you missed it don't worry, it's nothing too special.
