The entire tale of the Jewish captivity in this town was amazing. We spent time exploring the narrow streets behind the walls and gates. There is a lovely Jewish Museum but it closes at 2 so we were not able to visit. The city is well preserved and I definitely recommend a visit.

Very interesting area. Some excellent restaurants and little shops selling very interesting gift items. The only place that we could find beautiful Spanish pottery and clay dishes.

What a fabulous area of the city to visit. Amazing architecture. This area of town is simply wonderful to stroll through and explore. Take your time and let it all seep in.

(Note, some very narrow and steep streets if you have mobility issues)

We loved this area, especially at siesta, when there are very few people out. Little details on the walls, you can imagine the history centuries ago...

An extremely interesting city that still has buildings from the 13th century and before. Original crevices for mezuzahs are still there as well as the house of the Ramban. The Jewish Museum is adding exhibits. There are now for the first time in ages two Jewish families that have returned to the city.
