There aren't really any english bars in Empuriabrava, maybe a few British sounding names but not authentic like this one. You are assured of a warm welcome from Louise who is the owner and a relaxed friendly atmosphere. It is a little off the beaten track but definitely worth finding. Overlooking the main canal you can sit outside with a coffee and the paper or a full english breakfast watching the boats go by. The menu is reasonably priced and all home cooked. Curries are to die for and the Sunday lunches are not to be missed. We visited several times during our stay and always found the quality and service to be the same. The house wine is excellent and very reasonably priced and the food is really good value.
