Back to Divinum after some time, I feel short of adjectives to describe the Many sensations we have experienced. Every dish was excellent. Waiters were also, their eyes on us every moment. Joan the owner makes you feel someone special. Keep on!

We used TripAdvisor to find this place and it did not disappoint. We had the first of the two tasting menus (both excellent - the second, more courses, had more fish/shellfish) and were completely satisfied and delightfully surprised by the excellent flavors, wine parings and service. The cheese course was a stand out if you like that sort of thing. At the beginning they present several and varied olive oils from Spain to go with your breads. Several salts and bread options were also presented. Don't overdo it on the bread though. There is much food even in the first tasting menu option. Each course was presented simultaneously with the wine and explained to you. I was amazed at how busy the staff were but the service never faltered even went each table was completely occupied. Our meal lasted just about 3 hours to be prepared to spend that much time. Compared to most restaurants offering menus similar it was great value.

We had booked using the Trip Advisor App, but when we arrived, our booking had not been recorded and the restaurant was full!!! We were told to go away and come
Back in half an hour in case there was a cancellation. We were lucky enough that there in fact was!! We had the most amazing evening. The food was impressive, surprising and very filling! I personally struggled to finish my food. My advice to everyone is - although the bread and olive oil is irresistible and delicious, don't eat the bread!!!! It fills you up unnecessarily!every course is a delight! What a fabulous evening!

We had the tasting menu with matching wines and were extremely impressed with the food and wine! Every dish was perfectly executed with a special touch and the wine pairing was spot on. Definite must if visiting Girona.

We had reservations for tomorrow but were told there may a general strike so our reservations were changed to today. Divinum is a gem, in so many ways. Having had meals at several Michelin rated restaurants Divinum scored above all of them in food, presentation, service, and creativity. It was a joy to sit for nearly three hours and experience a surprise with each coarse. The wait staff were professional with out being haute. You could tell the pride they had in what they were doing. We had the Market menu, although it was in Catalan the maitre d' was so helpful with the translation. Seven wonderful courses at a very reasonable price. I'm still smiling at the experience!!
