Don't expect much of it and you will be pleased. It's a basic hotel with basic services. Not far from the city center, but it's not centric. At a first glance it looks new and sophisticated, but the services offered are poor.
There's no free WIFI access (you can purchase 1 day acces for 5 euros).
The room itself is ok, it has the basics with a simple design. The smell was neutral (not stinky). The double bed is comfortable an the linen was clean and soft.
The bathroom was clean, but the bin had no plastic bag, which in my opinion shows a lack of higienical conditions. We were provided with 2 towels and 2 hand soaps. The towels are not enough if you want to have a bath, as later they were wet and we could not even dry our hands after washing them.

The breakfast (charged as 4,5€ extra per guest) is not a nice experience. To start with, it is served in a tinny room which was crowded and noisy, we had to share table with another couple (which was not a problem), but we also had to remove the dirty dishes that stayed there waiting for some waitress to take them. Moreover, the breakfast itself doesn't fit the description ofered at the website (no regional products, no cold meats..). It consisted of croissants and chocolate industrial pastry, some bread, basic cereals and oranges. Although there was a lot to eat, there was not much to choose. It was stated in a blackboard that the breakfast was healthy. In my opinion, the variety of products was limited and not international at all. I must tell, as well, that there was orange juice, milk, and different coffees and teas to choose.

The staff in the hotel in general was kind and helpful.

The truth, is that you can't expect much more from a 45€ room.

It little bit hard to find, as it is a mile or so from the A-7 autopista, but their website gives good instructions. Reservation on the website was easy; check-in no problem. Rooms are very small , but typical for a super-budget hotel in Europe. The space is efficiently used, with a double bed under an upper single bunk, desk, bathroom, and suitcase stool. It is designed for sleeping and moving on in the morning, which was just fine with us. It is co-located with an Ibis hotel which is more expensive, and may have a larger room, but the Etap was just fine for us. The Etap name is being changed to Ibis Budget.

Room Tip: The front door/main entrance is a long way from the parking lot. The exit near the parking lot says emergency only, but if you tell them you are going to go out that door, you can use it.

The price was very cheap for 2 people. Everything clean. Definitely budget as furniture is just what you need. Shower great. No phone in the room. I slept great but the women of my family had a hard night with the dripping noise in the air conditioning/heating- my wife in my room and the girls in another room. Lots of free parking available in front of the hotel. Very quiet area. Not close to downtown sites. Very friendly service and helpful for sightseeing.

Room Tip: I would ask to see the room first and make a point to find out if there is a dripping noise in the overhead central a/c, heating.

hotel was very clean but basic but definitely a a great value...stayed twice and it was a great stop over on our way to other destinations...suggestion though is to request a room not facing road as it is quite noisy
