This hotel is very well situated but make sure you have a detailed map or satnav as it's otherwise difficult to get to by car in the mostly pedestrianised streets of central Girona. The garage is convenient but expensive at 21 euros a night and with very tight access. There is a large free car park a couple of minutes away but it's very crowded and you may struggle to find a space.
The room design is stylish but not everyone will like the nearly see-through glass to the bathroom. Despite several calls to reception, we were unable to stop the ventilation blowing warm air at us when the room was already at 24 degrees C.
We had a two storey junior suite with great views of the cathedral but you can also hear the bells.
We liked the free tea and coffee available all day in the very small and overheated breakfast room. There is also free internet access.
