Description: Located in an emblematic spot in the old part of town of Girona, from which terrace you can enjoy the magnificent views of the Plaza de San Felix, dominated by the church of Sant Fèlix. Next to a hallmark of the city as 'El cul de la Lleona'. This may be the ideal starting point to visit the old town and the famous Jewish Quarter of Girona. You will enjoy a large selection of salads and sandwiches. True to the great quality of our products, such as our meat, well known for its quality from 'Casa Baldiró' in Banyoles, Girona. Our specialty are our sandwiches made with focaccia bread or English bread and the extensive list of hamburguers. All accompanied with a juice, smoothie or of our large selection of beers.

Had lunch here a selection ofTapas very nice and tasty with a bottle of Rioja perfect and reasonably priced. The only negative was the tapas was served as it was cooked so some dishes came out perhaps 30 minutes after the first.
Came back the following evening and had some of the local specialty dishes, sat outside even though it was a bit chilly the heaters helped.

The food is adequate when you first arrive hungry and tired from an overseas flight. They have wifi which is a big plus as unlike Barcelona it's not as easy to stay connected. Choose a coffee and croissant at an outside table at 9am and watch Girona come to life. I did try some of the other food on offer and was not very impressed. It's a sandwich shop that serves salads, sliders, etc. The prices are average.

I will not eat here again. Our waitress was extremely rude to us, she couldn’t be bothered to answer our questions, and acted as if it was an imposition to take our order. My friend and I asked (politely ) for more hot water for our tea. After waiting 15 minutes and asking three times, another waitress finally brought one cup of hot water, we’d asked for two. She brought another cup finally. Then when we paid our bill we were charged for the hot water! Of course we would pay for the tea that we ordered, but to also charge for the additional hot water was ridiculous.

During our stay in Gerona we will NOT eat At this place again!

Traveling with two friends and we all ordered one of the specialty hamburgers at Kong. Two of us also ordered hot tea. I asked our waitress if they had any honey for the tea, and she rudely said no. She brought our tea, and I asked another waiter for honey, which he brought. A bit later, we asked for more hot water to add to our tea bags. Nothing happened. We asked again, and again nothing. We asked another waitress who brought out one cup of hot water in a stained cup. We asked for a second cup of hot water, which was also brought in a stained cup. In the end, they charged us for the additional cups of hot water as if we each bought another cup of tea! We complained that it was ridiculous to charge over 2 euros for a cup of hot water, but no one took responsibility.

Our first visit was wonderful, 5-star! Excellent service, delicious salads with attention to my many food intolerances. We tipped our attentive server well, even though that is not the custom in Spain. We stopped in 2 days later; sat down and the same
"wonderful" server brought us menus. He then cleaned tables near us, served other customers, talked to other servers, cleaned and set up tables... even when we waved and made eye contact, he continued to be "too busy" to take our order! So after 20 minutes, we gave up and left. We ended up having a nice tapas and beer over on the nearby Placa de la Independencia. So we averaged out Konigs ratings: a 4 and a 0 = 2. I wish I remembered his name so we could notify management.
