I have been having lunch here ever since I was a child and I come back as much as I can. They offer an amazing deal: for about 10? you get an appetizer, a main meal, desert, bread and wine. The food is great (and typical from Spain) and the menu hasn't substantially changed in the last 10 years... and I hope it doesn't in 10 more years.

A. small , and looks a family owned restaurant . We wre walking around the little alleys of the Gracia area near Plaza Del Sol around 19:00 , and when we saw this retaurant - we enteredand found the family eating arond a corner table and no other customers . We wre invited to take a seat although the place was closed for yet another 15 minutes . We decided to leave and came back half an hour later .We are still glad we came back : The food was really homelike and great , the bottle of wine was good and for the three course fish dinner for two inc, wine and tip, we payed 23 euros . What a deal !!!
Although English is the weak side of the staff - the service was patient , polite , prompt and welcoming with a big smile . Don't miss it !!!

We came across this restaurant for lunch during a nice stroll in Barri de Gracia which is a fantastic, not to be missed, non-touristic neighborhood in Barcelona. The menu outside the restaurant immediately caught our attention. It was a varied selection of starters and main courses, typically Basque cuisine. The most striking thing: a fixed 10 euros for starter, main dish, dessert, bottle of very drinkable wine (Terra Nostra, 70cl) and a bottle of water (bottle per 2 persons). How is that possible? Inside the restaurant there were only local people having lunch, we did not see even one tourist. The food was delicious and served quickly. Starters were surprisingly of great portion! We even came back the next day so in total we had tried the green asparagus with bechamel sauce and ham, paté, mashed potatoes with spinach and egg, mussels (which were according to my friend, who is an amateur chef, one of the best prepared mussels he had ever tasted), delicious salmon with potatoes and green beans and "merluza a la vasca" (a traditional Basque dish with hake fish). As dessert we tried the crema catalana and flan catalan which were also very tasteful. We finished our excellent meal with a deliciously strong "cafe solo".
A tip: prepare for your best Spanish since the menu is only in Catalan and staff did hardly speak a word of English. Waiters very friendly though! Does it not just make the whole experience fantastic? We believe it did. Do note that in the weekend price is 15 euros instead of 10 euros, but still: a fantastic authentic 3 course meal with a bottle of wine and water!

This is a little family owned restaurant with quite an impressive range of very hearty and very typical Spanish food. We were four persons and took the three course menu for 18 EUR that includes wine and water. So to our surprise we paid less than 80EUR including 2 bottles of (very drinkable) red wine and 2 bottles of water. We all enjoyed the service and our time there. All dishes were very good (not a single disappointment) and I only regret that I can't go there more often. This place has better food than many places that charge double the price.

Not sure where the negatives are coming from, maybe jealous competitors. Have been going to Sporting for years, and this family-owned restaurant is great value for home-cooked Galician food. Wide selection of dishes, low price, and friendly friendly service...close to bars for a drink before or after dinner, with room for groups up to 145 people without being a huge impersonal restaurant...what more could you ask for??
