An alternative place, full of young people, where you can enjoy drinking in good prices and games (billiards, table soccer etc.) We visited this bar at least 5 times!

Come here, don't care about the poor style of the place, order a "jarra" of sangria (better if 2,3,4...) and be happy: you've just had the best sangria in Spain

There are 2 L'Ovella Negra's in Barcelona, I prefer and tell you about the one near Las Ramblas en Calle Sitges.

L'Ovella Negra is a mystic, rustic place with a unique charm that you won't find in main stream pubs. The pub looks historic, inside there are only 2 small windows. It might feel like a cave being inside (and I mean this positively). Although it gets crowded it feels like knowing an exclusive, special pub in Barcelona. Why? Because it's hard to find!!! It's not greatly advertised and visible from outside, in fact, only the bouncers make you think: There must be something behind those doors!

It gets crowded between 11-12PM, you better arrive a bit earlier to get a seat. At least on weekends its full of international people and the table arrangements are set up that you naturally get in conversations with other people (there are big tables that you typically share with others, there is a line of small tables for two people sitting opposite each other with tables to the right and left and there are several casks near to each other where people stand and place their drinks on).

Music is played quietly but you won't be able to hear it as it's noisy when the pub is crowded.

The beer and sangria is not expensive, and it's mainly people below 40, on some evenings probably also just below 30 years of age in there. You can play billards or tabletop football there, too.

Walking in the Ramla sometimes makes you feel like you're in a big touristy place, full of fake things and and people who tries to convince you that you're in the real Barcellona. The only time I felt in the real Barcellona night life was when we first went to Ovella Negra! That was real fun! Seriously, I wish I can be there again soon!

If you want to go to a big Taverna, have some very tasty sangria and meet people from every part of the world you are in the right place!!!
The place i almost every day full of people, you can buy a jug of sangria and sit where ever you want. 1,75 liter for 12 euros it could be very cheap.
Very friendly and easy going place. Come on have a look to Ovella negra!
Location behind Pan's and co. in ramblas very close to Plaza Catalunya!!
