Fabulous little spot for midday tea and cakes. The pastries are rich, so be prepared to do some walking thereafter to work off the guilt. There’s only one server / barista, so don’t be in a rush — she is impressively effective at handling the crowds though.

We passed by this small café and entered. The whole atmosphere is amazing and you can watch perfect people passing by this place and marveling at your dessert. You really have to try something out of the showcase. The music in this place gives you a real holiday impression, so try to relax. In the front, there is a small shop included, where the owner of the shop sells different sweets and probably traditional desserts.

Dear 8Pit,

We would like to thank you for your visit and your kind words. We are so glad to know that you could enjoy our café atmosphere, music and sweets.

In the shop, we have gathered a selection of handmade sweets from different Monasteries around Spain, all of the pastries are made by nuns.

We wish you a very happy holidays.

Sincerely yours,

I would like to review the food and drink here, but the older woman serving left us waiting for twenty minutes for a menu - she hushed me when I dared to ask for a menu, and then served two customers who had just come in. Staff are rude, the place is chaotic, and it's frankly not worth spending your hard-earned money on a place which can't be bothered to serve.

Dear Kovalyova,

First of all, we would like to deeply apologize for the inconvenience, we are so sorry that your stay at out place was not the experience you expected.

We will talk with the staff who was in charge of the downstairs’ café to avoid in the future such a situation.

We always try to do our best and offer the best service to our customers, so they can have a relaxing stop and enjoy the handmade pastries made by nuns all around Spain.

Thank you for your visit and opinion.

Sincerely yours,
CAELUM
